Description

This is a small edition of a 5-color reduction woodblock relief print of a dog. Reduction wood block prints are are trickier than they sound. They are created by cutting the original design out of a wood block and printing the base color. This is followed up by cutting again the areas you want to stay the first color on that woodblock and printing again. This is repeated until you have printed all your colors. This is framed in a thin black frame allowing plenty of white space to remain around the print. This is 3rd out of an edition of 4.
