Having grown up in a rural area, I developed an appreciation for nature and animals which have long been my favorite subjects. My current work ranges from landscapes and wildlife to the occasional still life subject in a traditional realist style. My mediums range from pastel and acrylic to the occasional colored pencil or graphite drawing. I have been privileged to win awards for all my mediums from time to time. It is my hope that those that view my nature paintings and drawings share, in some small way, the feeling of peace and wonder at nature’s diversity that I experience first-hand.
