Betty is an artist from Virginia, now living in Milford, NH. She has been a NH resident for the last 20 years, painting with a local group, and teaching a weekly class at the Jaffrey Civic Center in water-soluable oils. She exhibits in New England and coastal NC and has won numerous awards. Her style has been described as “impressionistic realism” using a toned background and subjects such as local landscapes, coastal scenes, birds, and still life. Most of my life has been spent on the coast, which is always inspirational. Now I am also drawn to the forests, lakes, and mountains of NH, and hope my paintings will bring joy and happy memories to the observer.
