I became interested in creating art in high school when I enrolled in an art major course in my senior year. I dabbled with several mediums but settled on photography for many years after high school. I started watercolor painting in 1988 and have studied under several local Westford, MA.  artists. Most recently I have taken workshops with Robert O’Brien, Laurie Goldstein-Warren, Soon Y. Warren and Lana Privitera.

I paint a variety of subjects with flowers being on of my favorites. I paint in a realistic style but also create some paintings by pouring watercolors.

I am a Signature member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, an elected member of the Academic Artists Association, an Associate member of the American Watercolor Society, and a member of the Chelmsford Art Society, and Nashua Area Art Association.

I have been juried into several national level competitions and have won awards in local, regional, and national art competitions.
