Originally from the Boston area, I’ve recently relocated and my studio is now based in Milford, NH. In 2020, I received my B.F.A. in Kinetic Imaging (animation, video, sound, and extended media) from Virginia Commonwealth University Honors College, with a minor in creative writing. In the first two years following my graduation, I worked as a freelance animator and studio assistant before transitioning to a career outside of the art world.
My animations often begin with hand-drawn or painted designs, which are then photographed and animated digitally. I have also worked in stop motion, design, photography, and and video, with a particular focus on self-portraiture. My most recent body of work focuses on small drawings, primarily in oil pastel and colored pencil of abstract and organic entities.
