Christie has a BFA in both Fine Arts and in Graphic Design, and a Masters in Art Education. She is licensed to teach art in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire and currently works as a part time art specialist for schools in Nashua and Mont Vernon. When Christie is not teaching she can be found in her home studio painting or enjoying the outdoors. Her artwork has been shown with the Hollis Art Society shows, in the West Pearl Street Gallery, Nashua, as well as many local library shows. Her most recent public work can be viewed on West Pearl Street and is a stretch of 5 jersey barriers and a triptych at the Millyard Bank in Nashua. She specializes in large scale abstractions, but enjoys painting pet portraits, children’s art, puppets, and murals for others.
