This class is designed for anyone interested in learning how to apply color using wet or dry pigments or someone who just wants to broaden their knowledge of painting. Students working in oils, water mixable oils, or acrylics are invited to attend this class.We will go over how to set yourself up for the best success in the medium. We will explore how to simplify the complexities of the visual world and at the same time learn how to create form. Topics will include – application, composition, value, atmospheric perspective, color and more. This will be ongoing with this instructor and can be joined at any time. Having prior drawing skills is an important place to start.

For Pastel Painters: 48 color set of Nupastels plus any others you may have (no Rembrandts), sanded pastel paper of your choice – 9×12 or 11×14 in size, pad of tracing paper little larger than size you plan on working (11×14 or 12×16) and a couple pastel pencils.
