Basic Drawing for Teens and Adults with April Boskee

Description

This class is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced artists.  The focus will be on the fundamentals of drawing and building essential drawing skills using shading, blending, composition, and perspective.  We’ll be working from still life and photographs. The following is a suggested basic supply list for class:

~Drawing pad (9”x12” or 11”x14”)

~A variety of drawing Pencils: H, 2B, 4B, 6B

~Kneaded Eraser and rubber or gum eraser

~Blending stumps (various sizes) (aka: “tortillion stumps”)

~Soft vine charcoal / hard compressed charcoal / charcoal pencils
